Celebrating the life of
Richard Edward Leech
February 28, 1946 - August 26, 2016
Savannah - Richard Edward Leech, 70, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at Memorial University Medical Center. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina son of John J. Leech, Sr. and Anne Belle Stone Leech. Mr. Leech was retired from Graybar Electric Company.
Surviving are his wife, Ida “Vicki” Leech, daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Richard Crawford, granddaughters, Sarah Deanna Lanier, Victoria Claire Lanier, brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Alyce Leech, Robert and Barbara Leech and sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Randy Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A graveside service will be held in Marion, South Carolina.

Vickie and Sherry, words cannot express our sorrow hearing Dickie has passed. He was always upbeat every time we had the pleasure of seeing him, talking college football, racing or whatever came to mind. He was our hero after all he had to endure with his blindness as he was an inspiration to all. He would make mention to us of things going on in Cheers that we swore he had eyes in the back of his head. RIP Dickie .... Mary & Billy
